About
When something bad happens to us, we remember it and learn a particular behaviour in response to what happened. Each time something similar happens, our physical and emotional reactions attached to the memory are repeated. In some cases these reactions are unhealthy. Hypnotherapy enables the client to separate the memory from the learned behaviour and then replace unhealthy behaviours with new, healthier ones.
There is always a reason why we behave the way that we do, we are born with two fears falling and loud noises, the rest we pick up along the way - if you can pick up behaviour you can put it down. Only 10-20 percent of what we do is on a conscious level which leaves 80-90 percent that happens on an unconscious level, using hypnosis we not only change the conscious, but we also engage the unconscious to cement the changes.
